ANNOUNCING: Cutting
horse trainer, Kenny Fisher joins Lone Star Ranch!
Famed cutting horse trainer,
Kenny Fisher has moved his operation from Pleasant Hill, MO to
Kansas City, MO and Lone Star Ranch. Kenny is currently working
with a variety of clients and has a limited number of opening
for new clients and horses. Lone Star Ranch solicited the help
of local excavator and friend, Scott Duncan to construct a new
cutting horse arena. It is 120 feet in diameter, with sand
footing. Kenny also relocated his livestock, 10 Longhorn steer
and 2 small Bison.
Kenny also breaks and trains horses for other general uses. Feel
free to stop by and visit with Kenny about your training needs

Rest In Peace
Sissy's beloved mare, Cinderella lost
her fight with continued intestinal problems on Saturday, September
13, 2008. She was a wonderful animal, companion, and
competitor. All those who knew her, loved her.
We will miss you Cinderella!
Ladies of Lonestar presents
Rhonda Martin Wednesday 9/24/08 6:30 p.m. at Lonestar for a
personalized clinic on reining and some simple do it yourself fixes
for a better stop, back and the dreaded 360. Rhonda will be
bringing her reining horse for the demonstration.
This is not just for the
Ladies of Lonestar club but this is open for all to attend. There will be a sign up sheet in the Lounge.

 Alex
got her new horse, Brody, just before Christmas and she is already
making great strides in training him for the upcomming show season.
He is a 3 year old gelding and has a great mind and spirit. We are
expecting great things from both of them this year.

John Hunter of Tebo Creek Ranch in Calhoun, MO brought his horse
Dreamer, and his ropes to instruct participants on the fine art of
calf roping. More than 30 people turned out for the two hour roping
clinic, to learn the fundamentals of roping.
